The Alberta Cowboy Poetry Association is sponsoring its annual Trail's End Gathering at the Highwood Memorial Centre in High River. There will be over 40 different performers of Cowboy Poetry and Traditional Western Music from Alberta, B.C., Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the U.S.A. The event will also provide an opportunity to purchase Art and Crafts by Western Artisans, as well as Books and CD's by the performing artists. The mandate of the Alberta Cowboy Poetry Association includes preserving a unique folk culture of the Canadian West through Cowboy Poetry, Traditional Western Music and Story-telling.
